This series is about my parents and very close relatives. It aims to depict their growing old, the action of time on those we love the most.
At the same time, it’s also a work of anticipation. Indeed, the greek word "genesis" refers to birth and origin, but also to a becoming. By depicting my genitors, I’m also getting a glimpse of what I will eventually become one day.
Where I come from is also where I’m going.
